Types

• Free Bus Pass is given to persons with 100% disability or as per the transport department’s category.

• Concessional Bus Pass is provided to persons with 40% to 99% disability for reduced fare travel.

• Escort Bus Pass is issued for one companion of a severely disabled person as approved by the department.

• Urban Bus Pass is valid for travel within city limits such as BMTC in Bengaluru.

• Rural Bus Pass covers inter-district or rural routes under KSRTC, NWKRTC, or NEKRTC.

Eligibility


• The applicant must be a resident of Karnataka.

• A valid Disability Certificate issued by a competent medical authority is required.

• The disability percentage should be 40% or above.
