Driving License Process (2-Wheeler / 4-Wheeler)
The driving license process is divided into two main stages:
1. Learner’s License (LL):
You must first apply for and pass the Learner’s License (LL) exam, which tests basic traffic rules and road safety awareness. Once approved, the LL remains valid for 6 months.
2. Driving License (DL):
After completing 30 days from the date of LL approval, you become eligible to appear for the Driving License (DL) test at the respective RTO.
This includes an on-road driving skill assessment conducted by an RTO officer.
You must pass the DL test before the expiry of your LL (within 6 months) to obtain the permanent license
